User Management

Manage users and their access rights.

Overview

User management enables:

  • Invite new users
  • Assign roles and permissions
  • Deactivate users
  • Monitor activities

Access: Settings → User Management (Admins only)

User Roles

Administrator:

  • Full access to all features
  • User management
  • Billing settings
  • Can appoint other admins

Editor:

  • Create and edit articles
  • Manage categories
  • Use import/export
  • No user management

Viewer:

  • Read-only access
  • Can view articles and categories
  • No editing possible
  • Exports only after approval

Invite User

How to invite a new user:

  1. 1
    Go to Settings → User Management
  2. 2
    Click "Invite User"
  3. 3
    Enter the email address
  4. 4
    Select the role
  5. 5
    Click "Send Invitation"

Invitation Process

Process:

1.User receives email with invitation link
2.Link is valid for 7 days
3.User registers or logs in
4.Access to workspace is activated

Resend invitation:

  • For expired invitations
  • Button in user list

Manage Users

Change role:

  • Click on the user
  • Select a new role
  • Save the change

Deactivate user:

  • User keeps access but cannot log in
  • Can be reactivated later

Remove user:

  • Removes user from workspace
  • User keeps their SlimPIM account

User Activity

Monitor user actions:

  • Last login
  • Last activity
  • Number of changes
  • Detailed log in activity log

Useful for audit and compliance.
