User Management
Manage users and their access rights.
Overview
User management enables:
- Invite new users
- Assign roles and permissions
- Deactivate users
- Monitor activities
Access: Settings → User Management (Admins only)
User Roles
Administrator:
- Full access to all features
- User management
- Billing settings
- Can appoint other admins
Editor:
- Create and edit articles
- Manage categories
- Use import/export
- No user management
Viewer:
- Read-only access
- Can view articles and categories
- No editing possible
- Exports only after approval
Invite User
How to invite a new user:
- 1Go to Settings → User Management
- 2Click "Invite User"
- 3Enter the email address
- 4Select the role
- 5Click "Send Invitation"
Invitation Process
Process:
1.User receives email with invitation link
2.Link is valid for 7 days
3.User registers or logs in
4.Access to workspace is activated
Resend invitation:
- For expired invitations
- Button in user list
Manage Users
Change role:
- Click on the user
- Select a new role
- Save the change
Deactivate user:
- User keeps access but cannot log in
- Can be reactivated later
Remove user:
- Removes user from workspace
- User keeps their SlimPIM account
User Activity
Monitor user actions:
- Last login
- Last activity
- Number of changes
- Detailed log in activity log
Useful for audit and compliance.
