Create and Edit Articles

Learn how to create and edit articles.

Create New Article

How to create a new article:

    Click "Articles" in the sidebar
  2. 2
    Click "New Article" (or Ctrl/Cmd + N)
  3. 3
    Fill in the required fields
  4. 4
    Add optional information
  5. 5
    Click "Save"

Required Fields

The following fields are required:

  • SKU (Article Number): Unique identifier for the article
  • Name: Product name

The SKU must be unique and cannot be changed after saving.

Optional Fields

Description

Detailed product description. Supports rich text formatting.

Short Description

Brief summary for overviews and list displays.

Prices

  • Retail price (net/gross)
  • Cost price
  • MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price)
  • Sale price with validity period

Dimensions and Weight

  • Length, width, height
  • Weight (net/gross)
  • Packaging unit

EAN/GTIN

Barcode number for identification. Can be auto-generated.

Manufacturer

Manufacturer name and manufacturer part number.

Category Assignment

Edit Article

Open for editing:

  • Click on an article in the list
  • Or use the context menu (right-click)

Save changes:

  • Click "Save" for individual changes
  • Or "Save & Close" to finish

Change history:

All changes are logged and can be viewed in the "History" tab.

Duplicate Article

You can use existing articles as templates:

1.Open the article
2.Click "Actions" → "Duplicate"
3.Enter a new SKU
4.Adjust the data
5.Save the new article

All fields are copied except the SKU when duplicating.
